The Historic Cloete Cellar at Groot Constantia

On 1 February 2024, the area between the Manor House and the Cloete Cellar at Groot Constantia was transformed into a sparkling space for guests to dine under the stars in celebration of the annual Wine Harvest Commemorative Event.

This celebration marks the birth of South African Wine, gives thanks and asks for a blessing of the harvest, and pays tribute to key individuals and organisations who contribute towards the ongoing success of South African wine.

The perfect setting for a gala event

This prestigious black-tie event commenced with a welcome and thanksgiving on the lawn, followed by a sit-down dinner and vocal entertainment by talented local opera singers.
